We are the One Love Graffiti Crew — a loose collective of underground writers, mural heads and lifelong music lovers who have been part of the One Love landscape for over a decade.
If you have walked the festival site in years gone by and suddenly caught a burst of colour that made you stop, smile, take a photo or look twice, that is the energy we live for.
What We Do
Across the weekend, we build a live graffiti wall. Not static “festival art” stuck up and forgotten, but a canvas that evolves in real time as the music moves through the fields, the campsite and the woodland.
You will see sketches turn into outlines, outlines turn into full pieces, colours building, blending, clashing and popping, collaborations happening on the spot, and those moments where you look away for ten minutes and the wall has suddenly become something else entirely.
This is live art in motion - paint, rhythm, culture and instinct happening in front of you.
What Graffiti Is
Graffiti is raw visual culture.
It is a language that grew from the streets, trains, walls, bridges and forgotten spaces where people were not “supposed” to create.
It is lettering and style. Character and symbol. Rhythm and flow. Identity and presence.
At its best, graffiti is not just decoration. It is a mark, a voice, a statement, a memory and a way of saying: we were here.
Why It Matters at One Love / One Sun
One Love has always been more than stages. It is a moving village of music, people, sound systems, food, camping, art and culture.
Graffiti belongs in that world because it is unfiltered, community-led and alive.
It carries the same spirit as sound system culture: self-made, independent, expressive, raw and rooted in people creating something powerful from the ground up.
Watching a wall come alive has the same feeling as watching a set build. You can feel the momentum rising piece by piece, layer by layer, colour by colour.
It gives the site character. It gives people somewhere to gather between dances. It creates memories that stick long after the weekend is over.

The One Love Graffiti Crew will be painting across the festival weekend, with underground artists and crews adding colour, energy and movement to the site as it transforms around you.
