What is One Love / One Sun?

A proper camping weekender in the Sussex countryside: camping in open fields, with two music arenas set inside woodland clearings (so the sound and atmosphere live in the trees).

When is it?

21–22 August 2026
Arrivals from 1pm Friday • Depart by midday Sunday

Where is it?

Bentley Estate - East Sussex (near Lewes)..

Tickets & entry

What do I need on arrival?
   •    Your ticket (QR code)
   •    Your ID (recommended)
   •    If driving: parking pass / campervan pass ready to show

Can I leave and re-enter?

We’ll confirm re-entry rules closer to the event. For safety, vehicle movement may be restricted at peak times.

Arrival times

When can I arrive?
   •    Friday: from 1:00pm
   •    Saturday: from 10:00am
   •    Sunday: depart by 12:00 midday


Camping

Where do we camp?

Camping is in the fields around the estate. The woodland arenas are separate

Do you have Family / Quiet camping?

Yes:
   •    Family Camping (calmer, earlier nights)
   •    Quiet Camping (no late noise, respect enforced)

Can I camp with friends / community camping 

Yes we absolutely recommend it - arrive together if you want to pitch together.

Are dogs allowed?

Sorry :( No dogs, except registered assistance/guide dogs.  

Campervans & live-in vehicles

Can I bring a campervan?

Yes — you’ll need a Campervan Pass bought in advance. Numbers are very limited. And sell out first 

Can I sleep in my car?

No  - sleeping in standard cars isn’t permitted unless specifically authorised.

Travel

🚆 By train

Nearest major station: Lewes (good links from London/Brighton).
Taxi rank at the station. We’ll publish recommended local operators nearer the event.

🚗 By car

You’ll need to pre-purchase a parking pass (standard festival format).  
   •    Follow festival signage on approach (don’t rely on sat nav at the final stretch)
   •    Have ticket + pass ready
   •    Park only where stewards direct you
   •    No vehicle movement in camping once parked
   •    Car share if you can

Drop-off / pick-up

We’ll publish a dedicated drop-off point. If you’re being dropped, arrive with your gear packed to move quickly.

Alcohol & “things you can bring”

Can I bring alcohol into the campsite?

We’ll publish exact limits before on-sale, but expect it to follow common UK camping festival practice:
   •    Alcohol is only allowed to be brought in on your first entry when you get wristbanded (after that, no bringing more in).  
   •    Typical allowance examples used by other UK festivals include things like:
   •    up to 18 cans, OR a 3L box of wine, OR up to 1L spirits (decanted).  

IMPORTANT: NO GLASS

No glass bottles or containers anywhere (including campsite). Glass will be confiscated.  
If you’re bringing wine/spirits: decant into plastic bottles or metal flasks before you arrive.  

Can I take alcohol into the arena?
No

Fire safety

Campfires / open flames

No open fires anywhere on site.
If conditions are dry, we may also restrict stoves/BBQs in line with UK festival safety practice.  

No sky lanterns / fireworks

No lanterns, fireworks or flares.

What you can’t bring

    •    Glass of any kind  
   •    Illegal substances / legal highs
   •    Nitrous oxide / whippits
   •    Flares / fireworks / sky lanterns  
   •    Drones (unless authorised)
   •    Laser pens / portable laser equipment  
   •    Unauthorised professional filming gear
   •    Megaphones / air horns  
   •    Spray paint / marker pens  
   •    Unauthorised sound systems (personal rigs will be removed)  
   •    Weapons or anything that can be used as one

Food and drink

Expect a proper spread: global street food, veggie/vegan options, coffee, late-night bites.

Traders / craft

Clothing, records, art, accessories, community stalls.

Workshops / wellbeing

Daytime sessions (movement, grounding, talks, healing sound, workshops). Full programme announced in phases.

Toilets, showers & water
   •    Toilets placed across campsite and arenas with servicing access
   •    Showers planned (final layout TBC)
   •    Drinking water points available — bring a refill bottle

Accessibility

We’ll publish an access pack with:
   •    Terrain notes (it’s countryside/woodland)
   •    Accessible toilet locations
   •    Access parking / drop-off guidance
   •    Contact route for access requests

Welfare & safety

You’ll have:
   •    Licensed security
   •    Medical & welfare provision
   •    Clear help points / reporting routes (modelled on best-practice festival comms)  
   •    Lost person procedures

Family-friendly atmosphere with a clear family/quiet camping option. Keep it respectful and it stays magic.
